Written by master modeller Peter Castle, this massive 565-page digital book describes how Peter built his amazing 1/18 scale Spitfire, which won the National Senior Champion award at Scale Model World in Telford in 2017. Peter takes you through modifying and correcting the airframe, building all the amazing details, and cladding the model in aluminium litho plate.
The book also includes tutorials on working with metal on your models, and designing your own artwork for photo-etching. Renowned aviation illustrator Juanita Franzi also contributes a pair of articles about the history of the aircraft depicted (TZ138), and the pilot who flew her as Race #80.
