A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Looks great Andrew. I'd kill to get my hands on one of these. Though it'll cost me 2 kidneys and a couple of kids :)

Very nice Andrew, 30SQN operated the Bloodhounds from Williamtown with a detachment in Darwin.

Paul, the Airfix kit was very available a couple of years ago. I had 2 of them at one stage. Think I still have one floating around in the stash

Cheers Ray,

I've got a heap of super small roundels for them if you need a couple. But don't sneeze to close to them or you'll lose them.

Very cool model of some very unusual subject matter.
Nicely done!!!!
I wonder if we ever test-fired any of these and, if so, what their accuracy and reliability was like???

30 Sqn was equipped with these at Williamtown in the 60s as well. I attended several ATC general service training camps at Williamtown in the 60s and these were there then. From memory there's also one of these in the Fighter World Museum at Williamtown.

RHB.
