I did this Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire a few years ago for my Dad for Fathers Day, note the rego. With my build rate back then, it wasn't finished in time but you get that. Can't remember what paints I used or any AM stuff either. The only drama I had was finding suitable codes to do the rego. It's a typical Tamiya kit and went together really well.

Nice one. This is probably one of their best kits, along with the new IL-2...I sneezed and half the kit was together!
