Excellent mate!!!!
Bring on the Falklands theme!!! ( I really find the Falklands Air War genera most fascinating).
Remember, the first Argy aircraft to come in contact with the poms was a 707.....now that's a warplane :D

Ta mate. There's so many civvy types that were used during the war. So many ideas, so little time :)

Hi guys. Thought I'd start a thread so we have somewhere to keep all the models specific to this conflict in one place. If we could keep this thread just for the models that'd be cool. Any discussion can go in at this thread http://airliner-civil-aircraft-modeller.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=311 Post up ya work and let everyone see it peeps :)

I'll start it off. This is the Beechcraft T-34C operated by the Argy navy. It's a 1/72 Skyhigh kit and it's shit. I started it over at AMI ages ago and I'm glad I've finished it. It's OOB cept for some seat belts. I had to hand paint it as it's too freaking small for my liking. The decals are Xtradecals and went on well. Though I did have to buy a new sheet as I ripped 1 of the anchors off the bottom of the wing whilst removing the masking tape. It's definitely not my best work but in the end I just wanted it finished. This is how 412 looked after the war was over

Anyhow here it is :)

I saw your pain building it, but that is a nice result in the end.

Thanks guys. Don't look too closely Graeme LOL Adam I'm pretty sure they were just 7.62mm guns but still enough to ruin a soldiers day.

Do it Troy. I have another 20 odd 1/72 models to build for this theme. I might start an Airfix PR.9 Canberra that "weren't flown for Chilean airbases during the War" next. I still have to acquire a 1/48 Pucara as well :)
