If anyone is interested, Antarki Models from Peru just released their first set of Argentine bombs for the conflict, the BPR 250 Expal in 1/48. They also plan the BR-250 and if you're interested in some in 1/72, the Airfix Skyhawk has some reasonable facsimiles of the weapon in their new kit. I'm pretty sure the only uses of the Mk 80 series retarded bombs was by the first strikes of the Naval Skyhawks, the rest were done with the Expal or the British 1000lbers.

I gotta get me some of them bombs. I've seen a pic somewhere of an A-4P carrying 3 Mk82's but do you think I can find the bloody thing The bombs in the kit are more like the Mk82 as they aren't as cylindrical as the Expal bombs otherwise I woulda used them. Besides I CBF'd modifying them. As I said, I need some BR-250's both in 1/72 and 1/48 so best I contact them.

Thanks guys. I started a Beaver last night thinking it'd be a quick and easy build The fuselage is moulded in clear so I've had to mask the windows on the inside just to paint the interior. Anyways I'll start a separate build thread and post the finished effort in here

My A4-C is getting close to paint. Not sure if I'll use the Hasegawa decals that are clearly yellowing or get an aftermarket sheet. BTW, I bought the Kinetic Mirage V Dagger was very disappointed with it. Incorrect decals for the Argentine aircraft and no 1300l drop tanks, no bombs and no bomb racks. Pretty crap.

Plodding along with this one for the last few months. Will be an Argentine A-4C carrying a 1000lb British Mk 17 bomb on the center pylon with drop tanks.
