HI guys,

I thought I would chuck this one on here too. For a full run down on this rather difficult conversion, see here:

Almost there folks!

I have given the model a coat of Tamiya clear mixed with approx 10% flat base (as the shop had ran out of semi gloss) It worked out very well and I think is the way to go in the future as you can `dial in' how flat you would like the model.

I have almost finished both seats

The the start of the weathering process. There is lots more work to do at this stage, as obviously the streaking is too heavy and needs alot more blending to make it more subtle.

It is quite an impressive looking model from most angles.

Next one will be in ready for inspection.

Eric.

Well Folks, its finished. A day spent adding aerials, antenna, gear doors, windscreen wipers and other stuff.

Will take some better pics in the coming days.

For now, here is a pic taken when I sat back and thought `its done'.

And the pic that originally inspired me to do something different with the conversion.

Bloody bewdy mate! Love that faded dirty look. Currently at Brissy airport awaiting flt to MEL after stint at Lihir Island for work. Paxed on a few -8's and Q400's. First time up that way. Saw the infamous granite filled clouds of the Owen Stanleys.

Cheers
Adam

Here is my Hunter T7, depicted as it was at RAF Khormasker, Aden 1966.

Converted using the Fisher dual seat resin conversion from the Revell single seat kit.

Although the resin conversion provides an excellent basis to depict a dual seater, there were a few things required to bring it up to scratch.

Additions/changes (above and beyond the Fisher conversion)

Cannon muzzle
Reverse scoops on the rear fuselage
Rocket rails
New ejection seat pull handles

Decals were a mix of decals from the kit, the Fisher conversion and the Aeromaster dingle seat sheet.
