Pilatus Pc-9M and A

Postby Uros » Tue Jul 21, 2026 4:35 am

Hi,
so here is the new KP 1/48th Pc-9. It's built straight from the box. I built it as Slovenian M version, but theres parts for A version too. I'm working on that one too. It looks like Pc-9, but to get an accurate model, it needs a bit more work.

Nice work, I have a couple of their 1/72 kits to build.

Here is a coincidence, I snapped a Slovenian PC-9 at RIAT 2 years ago and guess which tail number it was?

Nice work Uros. I'm looking forward to getting the A model at some stage. Anything wrong with the kit build wise?

Thanks mates. Ray, thats a cool coincidence. I saw one of these flying overhead today. Didn't catch the number though. I also have 1/72nd version both from Ozmods and KP. Hopefully I can build them soon.
Paul, be prepared for some putty sand sessions. And if you're building A version, you will have to reshape tailplane tips. You get other bits for A in the box. Prop blades are thick and nose gear, to me, looks a bit tall. Rest of it doesn't look to bad. At least for me. I have a plan to make one into an acurate model, but probably not in near future.
Cheers!

And here's the A version. Just reshaped tailplane and homemade decals. Rest of it is OOB.

Number two is very nice

The scheme is similar to the RAAF delivery scheme until they changed to red/white.
