Airfix 1/72 Kingfisher

The old 60s-tooled Airfix kit with lots of rivets. Re-scribed, added Falcon vac canopies and a White Ensign PE cockpit set.

Magnificent piece of modelling Mike. Have to be one of the best versions I've seen.
Now I know how you manage to spend those long winter Calgary nights.

A beautiful and precise model. It makes me want to make one myself. I really liked the subtle weathering, not overdone as is often the case these days.
