Lindberg 1/48 Polish SE5a

This is the very old Lindberg kit that I had in the stash for many years, but pulled it out for a Group Build earlier in the year. It's very basic, but fairly nice fitting. I replaced the Lewis gun with one from the spares box which was of much better detail and I used some aftermarket instruments to give the feel of a cockpit. Rigging was done with some knitting elastic. This aircraft is representative of the small amount (between 4 and maybe 20) aircraft that made their way to Poland in 1919 to fight against the Russians in the Polish War of Independence.

It may be old, very old in fact, but it still looks very nice

Looks good Brad, I won't attempt any WWI builds due to the rigging. Nice job on yours
