A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

my almost complete Italairi SBD5 Dauntless RNZAF 25 sqn based at piva from March till may 1944.
i again was given it as a part built model so i thought i'd play around weathering again....these didn't serve for very long but they worked hard.

it was given a couple of washes and exhaust staining...overall i'm really happy with it.

Very nice and have to say your best exhaust staining to date. Nice work on the weathering.

This is a very attractive looking model. I'm always partial to those RNZAF aircraft from the Pacific War.
