This one comes from my imagination, made from the older Revell/Monogram Bf 109G-10. It's not a terrible kit, but it does show its age, lacking a lot of detail but I enhanced the kit a bit using Hasegawa 109 parts; Canopy with amour, main wheels and tail wheel. I also used some RATO packs from the Tamiya Me 262, as I figured this baby might need some help hauling that torpedo into the air. The torpedo and the center line mount come out of the old Trimaster Fw 190D-9 kit.

Thanks mate. Mottling is easier than it looks, really.

I've only done it once. I have an F-4 that I was practicing on that's full of spots. Once I thought I had it, I switched to my 109. So I've done 1 German plane so there's no need for me to torture myself again

The Revell/Monogram kit may be old but it's still one of the most accurate ones of the Bf-109G-10.

I used Gunze RLM 76 for the wings and Gunze 74 Sky/Duck Egg Green for the fuselage which makes a reasonable substitute for the sometimes called RLM 84.
