Built for a Group Build over on LSP. Not a bad kit, but there are some fit issues and the instructions are at times, confusing with inaccurate numbers against parts and colour call outs that are lacking.

Very nicely finished model Brad. Always thought that the F-86f series looked just right, along with the Hunter.
Plus the Luftwaffe scheme was always one of the best IMHO.
Wayne.

I like a nice camo'ed F-86. You've done a nice job on it Brad.

Really nice build

Not wishing to start any sort of downplaying of your model, just me being mildly pedantic, but always thought the Luftwaffe used Canadair Mk6's in that era, this sure looks very correct for that, and the F-86F-40 was a North American model with a 12" extended wingtip each side, new build for Japan and Taiwan, many older USAF Sabres were converted, not to my knowledge used by the Luftwaffe, but them I'm very often wrong.

Yeh, it's something like that. I think the Luftwaffe had the Mk 5 and Mk 6 in service, but they upgraded some aircraft with the slatted wings etc, the box says F-40 6-3 extended wing but tells you to use the short tip in the instructions. I really have zero reference for these aircraft, I just bought the kit cos I liked the look of it for 40 bucks!

Good to see they gave you both wingtip types, great price on that
