Uncivil models for February

Here are photos of uncivil models.

The Tasman Models ASEL CT/4A kit is a horrible little thing best left in the box. I'm told it's rare these days but I took my sanity in my hands and worked on this kit anyhow. I gather there is a Kiwi Resin kit that probably has to be better.

Here's the High Planes Mirage IIID that I made a few years back.

And here's a Pioneer 2 Su-15 also made a few years ago.

Next three Anigrand 1/144 kits that come with larger and more desirable 1/144 kits. The Bowlus XGC-7 is a rightly unknown glider but the story of its designer is more interesting.

I don't know if there is a 1/72 kit of the Northrop A-17. It's not a well known aeroplane but it would have been better known back in the 1930s where there were a few of them in the air.

I've already made the MPM 1/72 Ryan XF2R-1 but this one was in the box so I made it too in 1/144.

And that's enough uncivility for one month.

NIce collection Leigh, the CT-4 turned out nice, I started on these years ago ( the resin one) and ended up selling it part built.

I now have Kiwi resin one to build one day.

BTW, A3-115 never flew with ARDU, it was mainly an OCU jet and was painted in ARDU colours as a gate guard.

Pretty sure Rareplanes and MPM did the A-17 in 1:72.

Very nice work. Must get one of those Anigrand kits with the "surprise" little kits.

Some really nice stuff there, I once had the Tasman CT4, and found out it had a bit of an error so offloaded it

You're not wrong about errors, but I ignored the ones I couldn't easily fix. But it still looks mostly like a CT/4.

Nice array of military types there Leigh.
I am particularly taken by the SU-15 "Jumbo Killer'
I have had a morbid fascination for this aircraft ever since one shot down a Korean Airlines 747-200.

A very "uncivil" act :(
