In the spirit of the work Ray does with refurbishing old models, last year I refurbished my old 1/48 Trimaster Me-163. The Gunze paints used all those years ago where just the wrong shades in reference to some colour photos I came across years after this build was complete. So, I thought, why not have a crack at laying down some new Gunze over this old model and it worked well enough for me to be happy enough with the result. Checking my old spares box, I even found the original boarding ladder and pilot in his "Nylon" (or whatever material it was made of) flightsuit. I added a parachute as well.

So here it is, my "refurb'd" Komet. I do have the incredible Meng 1/32 kit to make some time - once I get this civvy "itch" scratched!
