Geez.....there is some nice stuff there Brad.
There is no denying you build a descent model.
Love the A-1!!!
I am also very taken by your "pink" Mirage posted on some other model sites ......she is a "ball-tearer"!!!

Great work Brad.

Wonder what ever happened to those "Russian Liberation Army" pilots? Can't have been a happy ending for them.

Isn't that SPAD fun to build - one of my most enjoyable builds. I added a lot of work to mine - particularly in the cockpit. The "Yankee" escape system is non-existent in this model, so I scratch built mine. I have considered buying the big Zoukei Mura SPAD, but I put so much effort into my 1/48 SPAD, I just can't go there again at the moment - not with so may other builds ahead.

Love your Kiowa Warrior - good n dirty!

Cheers

Adam

Thanks guys.

Not sure what happened to the pilots of the ROA. There were around 100,000 men in the ROA, some tried to surrender to the West, but under the terms agreed to by the Allies, all captured Soviets fighting with the Axis were to be sent back to Russia. Most were sent back where they died in work camps but sympathetic allied commanders, knowing their fate did turn a blind eye to escapees. The leaders were hanged in Moscow on August 1946.
