Let's see if this works now given I think I've fixed the posting problem on my desktop. This kit has been sitting on my shelf of doom for a little while as I have been awaiting some decent images to show the top as the earlier ones I had seen, I could make out aerials, but not exactly where they go. Anyway, by chance I asked Ray Woodford (TOR) and he came through with flying colours with a couple of images from both front and rear of the real deal that has allowed me to complete this kit as VH-OHP would've looked. As nice a kit as this was (Revell) I'm not overly happy with the front windscreen, and the port front door window fell in which I have filled with clear glue. Anyway, It's done now. I hope you like it.

VH-OHP of the AAAvn 173 Sqn in the late grey scheme. I can't find any details as to its role so I hope one of our Army guys can explain its purpose. This aircraft was repainted from a sand colour to this colour before being painted white and sold. I believe it suffered severe damage in a landing accident in Costa Rica and is now flying in Alaska.

I guess you are just glad to see it finished, turned out a nice finish, sorry but, it's a bit boring though.
don't really want to be so negative, but as an old Twotter man I just can't help it.

Hey Andrew

Great work as usual. What's the story with the civvie rego on this bird? I didn't even know the Army used the Twotter (not that I'm remotely up to anything at all to do with that crowd!). Many moons ago when my parents were living in Borneo, a neighbour and good friend was the resident Twotter driver working for Bristow. He used to fly up and down the coast - easy peazy. He'd t/o, whack it in autopilot and then pull out his trashy novel to read - and hopefully not fall asleep! He was the guy who told me that commercial aviation is 99% boredom and 1% shear terror!

Cheers

Adam

Great build Andrew. A most interesting aircraft-type in a very rare Australian-flavoured scheme. I think you have done a magnificent job.
Good to see that you can post ya pix once again.
TOR
PS: it certainly ain't boring!!!

Thanks guys. The Army leased three of these birds, for what role I don't know but going by the fact that one crashed on a training flight in PNG possibly fixed wing pilot training. This is the only one still flying I believe.
