1/48 RAF F-86 Sabre

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Bit of an update on this 1. Spent a few hours masking up the grey to spray the green today. Sprayed it and removed the masking in 15min flat LOL Happy with how it's turned out so far. I'll give the green a couple of days to harden up then spray the anti glare panel black. Really trying to get this done in time to send it up to my Dad for Xmas. See how we go :)

Quick update time. I got the black on the anti glare panel and vertical stab leading edge last night. I'm liking how it's coming along. I'll let the paint dry today and then hit it with some one go in preparation for the decals. I'll have to sort out some sort of base for it as well :)

Thanks mate. Might get some decals on it today. Must try and work out a base on which to mount it some time very shortly :)

Open all the door and she'll be right. I keep hinting that I need a portable aircon in there but so far it's fallen on deaf ears. Maybe once I'm gainfully employed ;)
