Finished yesterday but unable to post here until now. 1/24 Airfix Mosquito FB.VI OOB painted to represent A52-500 A-NA circa 1945. Initially painted with Humbrol 191 then painted over with Humbrol Metal Cote.

Amazing! Now I know why you've been a little quiet of late - building a bloody big model is why! Were these Mossie's based up in Labuan? Went to that island many years ago.

So, what was the kit like - spill ya guts!

Cheers fellas. This is the second one of these that I have built in this scheme, but for some reason, although I took more care and time with it, the fit wasn't quite as good as the first one I did. In saying this though the kit is magnificently detailed and goes together well. The paint job on this one was better than my last. I believe Airfix are about to, or have re-released it in a different version but with the ability to do the same version here.
