This is my just finished Revell Hawker Hunter FGA-9 finished in the same scheme as Eric's twin tub of 1417 Flight, Khormaksar, Aden (circa Jan 1966). the combined fuselage markings denote the merging of 43 and 8 squadrons. The kit roundels were crap and obliterated in water as did the original squadron markings so the replacement main decals are from AeroMaster. The resin bang seat was a late minute addition courtesy of Uncle Les who just happened to have them at the last Melbourne IPMS meet and make a great addition to the basic kit which goes together well and is well detailed. I hope you like it.
Really beautiful work Andrew!!!! You 1:32 military aircraft builders create some pretty impressive models!! And how pretty is the Hunter......at some stage I wanna do the civvie all-yellow Shell Hunter that was operated by Thunder City in South Africa before they shut down. Thanks for posting this magnificent model, A/CAM is really lucky to count amongst it's members some truly world-class model builders. TOR
