What's an airbase without a little air defense? I'd always wanted a large scale SAM and bought this when it came out for about 15 bucks, however I was ripped off. As usual with these Chinese produced crap, it suffered from poor fit, poor moldings and general roughness that you would not and should not expect of a brand spanking new model. I half built it then put it back into the box until I had an urge to just finish it. I took the camo scheme from a 1982 Born in Battle magazine I had laying around and is representative of an SA-2 of the Egyptian Air Defense network during the 1970's.
