This was a welcome new kit on the market after many year of about the only available Kfir being the Esci offering. The kit looks great in the box, with nice decals, engraved panel lines and plenty of weapons. However when you try to commit glue, the problems start. Aside from the fact that every sprue has suffered mold shift, thus every part needs to be cleaned up, especially the mating surfaces of parts. I had the most problems with the air intake covers and the nose cone. I found that sanding down the mating surfaces of the nose cone will give you a much better fit (the nose parts are too wide for the fuselage) and some test fitting will leave you with minimal clean up and rescribing of the air intake cover.

A couple of other pointers for this kit are; remove the locating tabs for the drop tanks, it will give you a better fit. Enlarge the locating holes on the Python missiles or the fins won't fit. Enlarge all mounting points for weapons and drop tanks or they won't fit.

Kit is build OOB with the small addition of ReHeat's remove before flight tags. There is actually a little photoetch pin the top of the tag, although you probably can't see it.
