wingsy kits A5M4...probably the most fun kit i have ever built superb engineering and from start to finish less than 2 weeks a brilliant kit(i now have an A5M2 early model in the stash)

next was a pair of blue beasts.....Tamiya F4U1-D and F2G(the racing corsair was built late 2017)both nice kits to build.

next was a Finnish 1/48 Hasegawa P40e...started by another modeler i hope the end result did him proud(this may be a theme for this year)

then a Revell P51b...started last year but waiting for details based on the original markings for a mustang now owned by Jack Roush

onto a pair of Kawasaki's finest...both fine molds kits the silver one is a KI61-11 Kai marking of the one recently restored in Japan
the KI100 is in the markings of the Akeno fighter training school.

then a silly project...a tiger models P40e egg plane in the markings of Dick Cresswell.

then another KI61...this time a KI61-1 tei

a KI43-11...also started by another modeler....this had been painted in one of the best bare metal finishes i have ever seen it would have been a shame to hide it under mottling

then the continuing mustathon.....this time revell P51b NX1204 and airfix P51d(as a CVAC mustang) VH-IVI

then a diversion...two 3D printed Trex skulls

then back to mustangs....this time VH-FCB(later to become G-HEAC and destroyed at flying legends 2011.....i was there) and a 112 SQN mustang iv in the firewall scheme.

and finally for the year(unless i finish my current Dauntless) an old tool Hasegawa A6M5 upgrade kit with a heap of diacast metal parts and mt first serious attempt at weathering
it's been a good year for builds i hope i keep learning and building so many interesting subjects next year.
