well sometime you have to do a weird thing

so a tiger models cute plane P40e i used decals from the Academy P40 E of Dick Cresswells P40E-1 A29-113
the kit was a joy to build and a surprising amount of detail..all i added were tamiya tape belts..the instrument panel i tried my first attempt at hand painting the gauges and i'm pretty happy with the result.

i did a bit of research on Dicks plane and it seems all P40e-1's were ordered for the RAF so they were painted in dupont equivalent RAF colours ( i do plan on doing this plane in 1/48 scale down track)
