encore 1/72 Tupolev Ant-5

A Tupoloev Ant-5 from my slowly growing collection of finished models. This was the protoype of the Tupolev I-4 fighter which served the Soviet VVS from 1927 till 1936. This is the Encore 1/72 kit which is a knock off of the Zvezda kit and makes up pretty easily. The only modifications were to the propellor. The kit prop is all wrong, wrong shaped blades and wrong rotation so I cut the kit blades off and made a new pair from a piece of sprue carved and sanded to shape and then glued to the original spinner which is accurate enough for my eyes.
