After more than two years I've finally finished making this model of a Junkers Ju90 as it would have appeared in 1938. It's made from an Air Craft Models vacform kit with white metal details and a good decal sheet that was probably made in the 1990s. It really didn't tale two years to make, most of the time it sat in a box while I got up the courage to go on with it. Bloody Dr Junkers and his separate control surfaces. Eventually I got to the stage where I decided that I'd rather have it completed in a less than perfect state than beat myself up in trying to make it perfect. But it doesn't look too bad.

The Ju90 was a big aeroplane in its time and carried up to to 40 passengers in luxury (apart from the turbulence) while the 747-8I carries around 450 passengers, most of them in what could barely be called luxury. That's progress for you.

Well despite the trials and tribulations, that does look really nice, first time I have ever seen one of those built up.

Now that one I really like Leigh, looking forward to seeing it on the tables in the future for a photo session.
Lovely model that you once again have persevered with. Looks good to me.
Cheers
