Revell 1/144 Ansett 767-300

My mate Eric gifted me this kit a couple of years ago, and I had originally intended to finish it as a Qantas bird, but the old Roodecal sheet I had didn't survive the attempt. I ended up using a Hawkeye Ansett sheet for the livery, and Flying Colors sheets for the corogard and detail stencils. Probably my favourite airliner build so far, even if the starboard wing is warped!

I just loved the final Ansett colour scheme....very classy and timeless.
I can't believe we will not see passenger 767s flying Australian skies anymore after next week.
Nice job of a big, beautiful, Boeing in the beautiful colour scheme of one of the world's great airlines.

PS: She will be a prime candidate for the 2017 Model Expo A/CAM display theme:
Ansett: Tribute to One of the World's Great Airlines

Thanks Ray. The warped wing is really obvious in the flesh, so I'm not sure it's the best candidate for a display!

Thanks dudes. This is probably my favourite airliner build to date, warped wing and all. Got another one in the stash that will become the erstwhile Qantas bird.
