Here I am, back again with a few more completed models

First, the L'Aeropostale 737-200 that you've already seen, but here again for the record.

Next, the Minicraft Douglas DC-8-52, suitably shortened from the kit with Contrails engines and Vintage Flyer decals.

Followed by another F-27-200, this time dresses up as one flown by MMA in the early 1960s, using Underworld decals (though they have the appearance of originating from Hawkeye)

And finally, in 1/72 for a change, the old Matchbox Aerospatiale SA365N Dauphin 2, in S+M decals for a nice civil emergency services helicopter flying in London in the 1990s.

There's nothing uncivil about me this month.

Very nice Leigh. That DC-8 is very striking. Every time I see an F-27 my ears scream in pain remembering the occasion I told you about.
So this is what I missed at club night?
Wayne.

Great work mate. They all look pretty cool. What are the S & M decals like? I want to get their other civvie helicopter sheet but being a little expensive I'd like an opinion from someone who has used them before I order them. Cheers

You're right, their civil helicopter sheets are a bit expensive but I think they are good value for money, partly because they make it possible to make colourful models for some pretty drab military aircraft but also because the first set SSM72-007 gives you options for five different types and nine different schemes. There's lots of fun in them. The decals went on very easily and presented no problems. I'd recommend them, particularly the first set.

Cheers for that mate. I'm gonna get SSM72-007 cos there's at least 5 choppers on that sheet I'd like to do :)
