Qantas Boeing 747-238

Hi folks,
Here is my 1:144th Airfix Qantas Boeing 747-238 in the unique "Boxing Kangaroo" scheme. This was the aircraft used to bring home the America's Cup following Australia's 1983 victory over the Americans in this most famous of yacht racers. One of Australia's proudest sporting moments.

:D :D got it...I'll change that right now. Although if I remember, the winged keel caused a bit of a fuss :D

Did you paint the orange stripe? If you did what is a good match paint wise?

Great model Ray, can't wait to build some of my jumbos.. The finish on your models is superb, is it just future or clear gloss?

Nahhh....ochre cheat line is decal as supplied on this Hawkeye sheet.
If painting however...best match for Qantas ochre: = parts Humbrol # 9 Tan and Humbrol 69 Yellow
