1/72 DH Hornet WIFF

I finished this last night. It's the Frog 1/72 DH Hornet done as the successor to the DH88 Comet that won the MacRobertson Air Race in 1934. It's OOB except for the pitot tube and decals that came from an Airfix DH88. Not the best kit but then it is ancient so I guess it wasn't too bad. Another pretty coloured plane to brighten the cabinet. This will be going to expo for the civvie category :)

Congrat's Paul! It's so kick ass for several reasons:

1. It's a DH Hornet - "Winkle" Brown's fav aeroplane to fly.
2. It's a kick ass WIF -great theme!
3. It's a kick ass job - well done!
4. It's all red - very kick ass!
