This is the largest airliner I have built to date. It's the Revell 747-400 kit built to represent a cargo plane from Yangtze River Express using decals by V1. Despite the plethora of moans and groans across various modelling sites about this kit, I actually rather enjoyed this build, apart from the wing to fuselage join which was a total nightmare!

Out bloody standing mate. You've done a cracker job on the 74 mate. Well done

Very nice work there! I like the subtle pin wash on the panel lines - great!
Cheers

Ahh! I have seen this over on BritModeller. Form the title I was expecting to the a B747-8f. Pleasant surprise!
It is a lovely piece of work and the weathering is great IMO.
I agree about the kit, it builds into a nice representation of the B747 with a few tweaks.
How did you find working with the V1 decals? I am looking at getting some of his sheets.

The decals were fine - very thin and easy to work with. You must be careful not to accidentally touch them after positioning though as they will tend to come away from the model.

That looks great, Steve! Unusual livery, too.
