1/144 NB-52 + X-15

Postby Tony P » Mon Dec 14, 2015 7:12 pm

Hi all
Thought I would start my own thread and sorry it took a while to respond in the NASA thread. I assume this aircraft can appear here as it did wear NASA titles for a period of time even though it is a USAF aircraft.

The Kit is the old Revell B-52H kit, converted using Cutting Edge's NB-52B conversion which comes with decals. I had Ryan Hamilton build the X-15 collar (thanks Ryan) under which Dragons X-15 sits.

As you can see there is quite a bit of resin.

Really impressive work there Tony! Which Bull (1,2 or 3?) out of interest do you have bolted to the BUFF?

How did you get the Cutting Edge conversion set - ordered ages ago, or pay a small fortune for it? I managed to find a Cutting Edge set for my A-26A/B-26K Counter Invader project - cost a lot, but only feasible way to do this conversion. Cutting Edge did such great stuff!

Cheers and Bravo on this build!
