Fred Harris based his HS748 on the YS-11 kit. You might have seen it in the Avro display at Expo :D

I would have thought that, apart from a superficial resemblance, the YS-11 and HS-748 would be too different from each other to replicate one from the other. But then Fred always was a creative magician when it came to "outside the box" model engineering.

There was also a comment about his saving of the community in Kyneton .........he certainly gets around :lol: :roll:
