338 not 707 specific :D .
TOR

Come on guys, we are talking 707s in the thread, so it is implied.....

Are we turning into Facebook grammar and fact check nazis in here????? Do we need to spell everything out. I mean so many other threads go off on various tangents I sometimes lose track in them and we are getting picky here about not putting 707 in front of a 338 in a 707 thread!

Yeah, but you also think the Phantom's better than the Piper Aztec, so that says a lot!

No, i hadn't forgotten that I have this 707-123 to make. However my aversion to such complicated masking has deterred me from making too much progress. Here it is in its current state of dress. Only the engine pods to be done and it's time for the decals. They had better bloody fit!

PS What are we going to do when the supermarkets stop handing our free masking material?

Here is the last of my 707s, an American Airlines 707-123. I used leftover fuselage plugs from a -138 to lengthen the fuselage to -123 length, Welsh Models JT3C engines and Vintage Flyer decals. Apart from that, it was straight out of the box - apart from removing the leading edge gloves to straighten the wing leading edges.

Only a few earlier Boeing airliners to go to finish off the Boeing airliners set. I'm thinking of moving on to Douglas next, or should that be Airbus.
