Rosenbauer Crash Tender

Now something even more different on my bench... the 1/72 Hasegawa Rosenbauer Panther 6x6 crash tender as a RAAF machine (operating base to be decided).

I figured this might go here as it could respond to civil aircraft emergencies :)

Building something that does not fly is a bit different, I am not used to all these fiddley bits going on over multiple stages

'framework'  and other greebles added as well as a dump pipe that I drilled out.

sway bars on (plus bonus finger print in glue on sump)

So after the first 6 assembly steps, this is how much you will see when it is on its wheels

Rob, you are the second to suggest RAAF 'Townsville' :-)

No numbers included for that base and I have only found images in the Defence Image gallery for Williamtown, Amberly, Richmond and Tindal which are those included in the decal set.

Ya right, that is different. I'd suggest Tindal but then I'm a little biased ;)
