Air Inuit and Air NZ 737's

Postby Cap'n Wannabe » Wed Aug 22, 2018 5:58 pm

Carrying on from the photos I've posted in the group thread...

And now there are two! Thanks to Scotty for the additional kits, too. I pinched the windscreen out of one of them so I could move forward with the Air NZ 737. Got the nose packed with liquid gravity - that was a fun job....not!
I've also sanded back Air Inuit and applied *more* putty, especially to one of the rear doors - that was lower than the rest of the fuselage. Still more sanding to do....

Oh, and Adam....if you look carefully, you'll see the glider...

The Air Inuit 737 is finally white! Primed her 4 times with grey, then 3 coats of white primer. But sadly, she'll have to wait until I can find a gravel kit - that's one detail I didn't pick up on...I know they're out there somewhere!

The gravel kit were originally done by Fotocut I think, but my memory is really dodgy these days, I know that Tte guy running it passed away a long time ago, long gone now, ebay is your only hope if you don't want to scratch build.

That is definitely inspiring..... I love the gravel kits! Right up there in the cool factor with the Mexican RATO 727s. 8-) 8-)
