Thanks, chaps. I've just put some Mr. Surfacer down over the repairs, and around the wing roots and windscreen piece, and it shows that the windscreen piece will be a bugger to fair in!

Here's a couple of photos of the current state of play. I've reinstated the lost panel lines top and bottom of the fuselage, and finished blending in the windscreen piece:

You may notice from the shot of the underside that I've managed to break off the nose wheel leg - for the 3rd time! I'm gonna have to drill and pin it now, but it's so small that I'm not even certain I can. Something to think about, I guess... :hmmm: There's a little bit of Milliput at the root of each horizontal tailplane, too, which will also be dealt with in due course. I have to say that it's looking unlikely at this stage that I'll have this finished by next Friday!

Thanks, Paul! I was beginning to wonder if anyone was still paying attention. Here she is straight out of the paint booth:

This is after one session of slowly building up the white using Mr. White Surfacer, following by sanding out all the surface flaws I could find, and another, shorter round of applying the white. The area around the nose where the clear part joins is still a bit untidy, but I'm going to see what that looks like tomorrow before deciding whether I do anymore work on it or not. I probably should, as with this livery (white on top, silver on the bottom), every little imperfection will stand out like a sore thumb. If I do, it'll probably rule it out for being finished by the weekend, but when was the last time you were happy that you rushed a model?

Hi Kev,
Yeah....I am still paying attention :D and continue to like what I am seeing. You must be commended for the effort you have put in on this kit to date.....it really is looking great.

Thanks, lads. It's starting to come together now, but looking pretty doubtful for the weekend, unfortunately.
