Yes they are definitely the later lengthened engines.

I think what is tricking you there into thinking they may be the earlier shorter engines are where everything is in relation to the wing when in both photos the wing has every thing deployed possibly making the engines look shorter.

Yes, that is it. In all photos I have, the flaps are deployed. So they should be lenghtened by 4mm and just in the rear, exhaust area, right? Airfix engines also look to skinny in that area. I'll have to do some thinking about how to correct it.
Cheers!

Ah ha! I think I just worked out how you did this!

I'm a bit lazy, when it comes down to writing an explanation on how I did things. I hope photos explain it, but, I will be happy to answer anyones questions.
Cheers!

Looks good Ansett A330!

I though of a plan how to corect the engines. I will replace whole rear part with new schratchbuilt one. If it doesn't work, I'll just extend the original one.
Image
Front end is sawed of, so I can easily fil and sand seam on the inner side.
While I was in sawing mode, I also cut of flaps and slats.
Image
I had two windshield decals, so I tried one on, to see how it looks.

Wings are not glued on yet.

Then I had enough for one day, so till next time.

Thanks for looking in!
Cheers!

Wow this is going to be stunning! Might have to make it to Melbourne to see it in the "flesh" so to speak.

Thanks guys!
I did some work on engines. I glued original halfs together and added a styrene tube in the rear. I split it in two and inserted a spacer to make it fit.
Image
Another tube was added to extend it. I added spacer to the fan blades so they are closer to the intake lip.
Image
To make wider pylons, I glued a thin strip where the edge should be. This acted as a guideline for sanding.
Image
Epoxy putty added.
Image
And sanded to shape. Still neds some fine sanding.

Not perfect, but I'll live.

So I have one more question. If thrust reversers are activated, are spoilers activated too, or not always?
Cheers!

That sounds like a job for a LAME. Any LAMEs in the House?

Or less qualified (ha ha) maybe a Captain?

Or straight to the source a 737 Flight Manual?

I'd "hazard" (and it would be a real hazard) a guess that there would be some sort of interlock where the Thrust Reversers could not be deployed until a certain amount of Flaps (full?) were deployed to avoid the Thrust Reversers deploying in flight a la Lauda 767-300.

Hi, Uros.
Another great build from you. As the Cessna on floats that I didn't comment, but I liked a lot.
As for your question, you may want to take a look to the link here, with many other interesting things.http://www.b737.org.uk/flightcontrols.htm#Spoilers_/_Speedbrakes
