Troy, not trying to tell you how to suck eggs, and you are probably aware of the problems with the Revell engines, there are several ways around this in case you hadn't seen before.
One method

alternatively there are aftermarket items
There are 2 basic alternatives
Braz, which you can get from Hannants
https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/BZ40 ... rency_id=8 currently out of stock though

or Authentic Airliners
http://www.authentic-airliners.de/epage ... ts/A144-07
also currently out of stock

Graeme, nope. As a "airliner know nothing" I knew nothing of those issues. They just add to my list of disappointments with this kit. I really do appreciate you letting me know though. Thank you. I think I will just push on & finish it though, and wait for this kit to come out in a decent scale, like 1/72. Yes the biggest disappointment I have with this kit is its size.

Ah well, enough cartoons, I'm gonna get out of bed and mask up the F-35.

Damn you Graeme, I've found and bought a set of Pas models CFM56 engine retrofit kits from in the Russian Federation.

They should be here late September.

Well.......there ya go!!!
I wasn't aware of the engine problems either, how has this escaped me all this time???, (although I knew about the window line, and that's why I bog and use decals).
When you see the engine comparisons, the inaccuracy of the kit bits as issued, is quiet stark :o
Thanks Graeme......I only have 9 of these kits that all will now need new engines :?
Oh......and Troy,
"and wait for this kit to come out in a decent scale, like 1/72"
Ask and thee shall receive :D

And that you do :D .....and on that note, thanks again for the VB decals.
BTW Contrails also do replacement engines and winglets for the Revell 737-800.

Yes they do, and I have a set, and as my mother used to say, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything.
I did do my own resin fronts, which require you to cut the engine in half and mate, sort of OK for me, but not much use to anybody else, only did one set

What we need is someone to do the decal for the holes inside the cowl on CFM's

Even from this distance they don't look like holes, so I just paint it in a darker aluminium, but it is a total bugger to do, a decal would be so much easier I think.

I have a set from Contrails, and I was going to use them on my build.

They look pretty much like resin blob versions of the kit engines.
