Hey peeps. Small update time. I've been doing a lot of filling and sanding on the beasty. Strangely I'm actually enjoying it :o Just 1 pic for ya's today. In between sanding this, an A-4 and the racing Macchi I finished of the second cooling scoop. Pretty happy with how they've come out. Not quite identical but ya get that and certainly look heaps better than the original. Toothplick for scale :)

Scoops look good Paul. I would not worry about them being slightly different since they will be opposites of the fuselage and hard to compare :D

Don't panic gents. I'm in TSV for the next 4 weeks so nothing is getting done on this during that time. Therefore it's fishing time :) Since the last update I've filled and sanded the pax windows. I've also finished filling, sanding and blending the dorsal fin extension. I've been messing with the undercarriage too. The wings, horizontal stabs, elevetors, ailerons and rudder have been rescribed so just the dreaded fuse to go. So it's progressing fairly well. I just forgot the pics  Not sure if I'll get any modelling done when I get home though. Depends on if we can get a house to move into or not. Here's hoping :)

Not much big progress with TFE. Just mostly filling, sanding and scribing. All the really exciting stuff    It's still ticking over nicely with more done next week ahead of going back to TSV Sunday week :)

In the very first paragraph of my initial post for this model I said, and I quote "I'm gonna take my time with this one as I want to do the best job I can on it. In saying that, I don't want it to drag on for eons either." Now over 9 years on the go isn't eons right?   So after the Jetranger being finished I had a look around the shelf of doom for something to do. I saw this sitting there and given this Xmas is the 50th anniversary of Cyclone Tracy I need to pull my finger out and get this done before then. So the last day or 2 have been spent working out how I can improve the exhaust and rescribing the fuselage with heaps still to do. Having Covid does have it's advantages ;) No pics this time but i'll try to get some tomorrow. Oh and if I ever say that I'm gonna rescribe a kit again, please yell at me not to
