Spotted this in the course of my recent browsing. Someone here might be able to make use of this kit.

Still a few days left to go. when you look at the bidding so far, the leading bidder appears to have put quite a premium on this kit !

Wow!

Glad I got mine for $100 at a Swap and Sell a couple of years ago :D

Looking at replacing the nose with one from an E-3/B707 kit. When I start on it you will all know about it!

I also l believe the engines need some work. Anyone got a list of things that need fixing on this beast.

It will look great in the Blue/yellow/green Australian Airlines scheme I think.

Man I'd love a 1/72 727 to sit next to my 1/72 707. But way outta my price range that's for sure :(

Well I had the chance over the years to get these at bargain prices, $60-70, but after I first looked at one, and saw that it is not a 727 at all, just a caricature, I left them alone, sure it has sweptback wings, 3 engines etc, but is probably closer to a HS Trident than Boeings finest..

If you really want something that is truly a 727, and an outstanding model, better to spend the big bucks and get this, at least it is something you will like

Now Kurt did at one time do a nose for the KMC kit, which fixed the most obvious error, but when he looked at all the other errors, he thought it would be easier just to do a whole kit, so he dropped the nose job and did this in both -100 and -200 kits, you do of course need a substantial bank loan to get one, but it would be a far better outcome

Hmmm, approx AU$360

What are we? Assemblers or builders? :D

I am up for some extra work if it saves me $$$$
