To paraphrase what that Bloke says in “Taken” : “Good Luck with that one!” as pretty sure that that Boxing was the Rocking Horse Doo Doo / Holy Grail of 1:48 Skyhawks based on what was posted in the Skyhawk GB on BM. Seems to be exceptionally hard to find / get.

Hope you have success.

What’s that old saying?

“Everything comes to those who wait especially when they have to sell a Kidney to get it!”

I won't mention there's a RNZAF conversion set very close to being released for the Hasegawa A-4E then ;) ;) ;)

While on the subject of Skyhawks would anyone know if there was a decal sheet (1:72 of course) or how I could make up decals for the first Skyhawk (an A4B) to land on HMAS Melbourne?

Mispost. (System put it before Post it was replying to - strange.)

(Even weirder it just did it again on a reply. Stranger than fiction!)

pretty easy if you have the USN Longbeach font :D just need size and colours, I am guessing blue

You are so talented Wal you make decal production look easy!

I’ll have to go looking for some colour photos as the ones in this video :

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IuU6dP_Irh0

Aren’t conclusive.

Also I just noticed the “NH” on the port side seems “upright” (old style / font?) whereas the starboard side is sloped “backwards”.
