Hi Andrew, now that you have it a few suggestions:

1. If the elevators are not already broken, they soon wil be, use thin wire to pin the halves together
2. The cabin windows are W-a-a-a-a-Y overscale, I fixed this by doing decal windows, fixing this goes a long way to making it look right.
3. The wings droop and look bad with the anhedral effect, I didnt realise until after I glued the wing halves together and glued them on the fuselage, I resorted to bending the wings outboard of the engines up under boiling water better but no cigar, if I was doing one again I would cut / shim whatever the wing just outboard of the engines and give a correct scale like dihedral tweak

The thing looks really good in the box, but....
enjoy..what livery you doing?

They're probably the thing that bugs me the most about this kit. Having worked on em for 7 years it really sticks out to me. Lovely work on yours though mate. Love it :)

Yep, I made one of those with Qantas Link decals. Far from one of my finest hours. Those days I still insisted in trying to make windows on my 1/72 models, but I wouldn't make that mistake again.

Loved the Norfolk model. Norfolk is a new one on me. Norfolk Island? Where did you get the decals from? I'm tempted, but in 1/144.

Best

Leigh

Thanks for this. It reminds me of a restrained East West scheme. I thought I might get right on to this but I discovered that the kit I have (Welsh Models) is a -300 and the Norfolk is a -100. I guess it wouldn't be difficult to do the conversion but I'll put that off to a rainy day and put this info in the 'Pending' file.
